Also, as part of the play, I got rained on every night and I thought this was so much fun! (taken from Dreamstreet Magazine page 24, premier issue, 2000). During that time Frankie also worked in many workshops, like Faust and Bye Bye Birdie, and Frankie got to work with people like Bette Midler, Rosemary Harris and Phil Bosco. Then Frankie auditioned for and got the role of Tony Danzas son on a show for Hudson Street. He and his parents moved to LA for eight months to film, and even though the show only lasted one season, Frankie says that he became very close with Tony Danza and still keeps in touch. Next Frankie appeared as Andrew, Martin Shorts son in the film Jungle 2 Jungle. Though he walked into a wall leaving the audition, he still got the part! The movie, starring Tim Allen, was filmed in Connecticut and Venezuela, and Frankie spent lots of time with Marty Short Back in NY and now in the seventh grade, Frankie landed an eight-week run as Oliver. Getting rave reviews and standing ovations, the twelve year old Frankie thought it was normal! Frankie also sang on the soundtrack of Night of the Hunter, a musical. Frankie was asked to sing the national anthem with Shari Lewis during a Mets Game, also. On his free time Frankie likes biking, Roller-blading, baseball, volleyball, bowling paint ball, and billiards. He also admits that he loves anything with an engine. He likes to go Wave Running, speed boating, and Four Wheeling, and water sports like water skiing, wake boarding, and tubing, in the summer. Frankie was worried when he first joined Dream Street because he had never taken a dance lesson before, but practice makes perfect!
